Founded in 1994 by Marc Guittard, RMC Marc Guittard specialises in the refurbishment, reconditioning and optimisation of industrial mixers designed for high-viscosity products.
Thanks to its cutting-edge technical expertise and in-depth understanding of the challenges involved in mixing complex materials, the company quickly built a solid reputation amongst manufacturers in the chemical, rubber, silicone, adhesives and food industries.
The year 2003 marked a major turning point in the company’s history with its takeover by François Turlais. With an ambitious industrial vision, he embarked on a gradual transformation of the business by developing the design and manufacture of new Z-arm mixers, whilst retaining the company’s long-standing expertise in the refurbishment and maintenance of existing equipment.
Under his leadership, RMC Marc Guittard invested in its production facilities, strengthened its engineering capabilities and developed bespoke solutions tailored to the most demanding industrial processes. This strategy enabled the company to become a recognised partner for the design of mixing equipment for very high-viscosity products.
Over the years, RMC Marc Guittard has expanded its reach beyond France’s borders.
The company supports manufacturers in Europe, America and Asia with equipment designed to meet specific technical specifications and cope with complex production environments.
This international expansion has helped cement the company’s reputation in niche markets where the ability to blend highly loaded, pasty or viscous products is a key factor in industrial performance.
The arrival of Gautier Turlais on the management team marks a new stage in the company’s development. Appointed Managing Director in 2020, he continues to build on the company’s entrepreneurial vision whilst bringing a focus on innovation, the modernisation of production facilities and the strengthening of the company’s international presence.
His commitment is helping to accelerate RMC Marc Guittard’s commercial development and to strengthen its position within highly technical industries seeking reliable, high-performance and sustainable mixing solutions.
The gradual handover of the business from François Turlais to Gautier Turlais reflects a commitment to preserving recognised industrial expertise whilst preparing for the future. This synergy between experience and the next generation enables RMC Marc Guittard to continue its growth whilst upholding the values that have built its reputation: customer focus, technical excellence, French manufacturing and bespoke support.
In 2025, Gautier Turlais will officially take over as chairman of the company, continuing the growth strategy centred on bespoke French manufacturing and technical support for international manufacturers.
Gautier TURLAIS is also involved in initiatives aimed at passing on industrial expertise and promoting technical trades.
RMC GUITTARD is a founding member of the board of directors of the CAP’METAL association, which runs the vocational school of the same name based in St Thibault des Vignes and trains young people aged 15 to 18 in the field of machining.
Gautier TURLAIS is chairman of the CAP’METAL vocational school, an organisation focused on training for industrial and technical trades. This involvement demonstrates a commitment to contributing to the development of industrial skills and the preservation of French manufacturing expertise.
RMC GUITTARD has also been working for nearly 10 years with the Compagnons du Devoir to help train young people undertaking their Tour de France in trades related to machining: BTS CPRP, GPI Bachelor’s degree, etc.
The educational approach championed by Gautier Turlais is in line with the long-standing values of RMC Marc Guittard: manufacturing quality, technical rigour, flexibility, customer focus and the ability to design reliable and durable industrial equipment tailored to the specific constraints of each industrial process.
The company has an experienced design office and an in-house production workshop bringing together a range of specialist skills: turning, milling, welding, fitting, mechanical assembly and the integration of electrical or hydraulic solutions.
This comprehensive control over the manufacturing process enables the company to design fully customised equipment, tailored to product characteristics, process constraints and the specific standards of each industry, particularly ATEX environments or vacuum and high-temperature applications.
The Z-arm mixers developed by RMC Marc Guittard are designed for processing pasty, sticky, filled or highly viscous materials.
Thanks to their Sigma blades and reinforced mechanical design, these machines guarantee homogeneous mixing, excellent material dispersion and high production stability, even under intensive industrial conditions.
The range covers everything from R&D laboratories with capacities starting at 1 litre to industrial facilities of up to 5,000 litres designed for continuous or batch production.
The company is supported by a team of around twenty staff and a 1,500 m² production site dedicated to the design, assembly and manufacture of industrial mixers. Its technical expertise and adaptability enable it to work with both major industrial groups and specialist SMEs seeking reliable and durable mixing solutions.
RMC Marc Guittard’s DNA is built on several core values: high-quality French manufacturing, mechanical reliability, technical precision, responsiveness in the field and long-term support for industrial clients.
The company also emphasises a bespoke approach, with equipment designed to precisely meet each client’s specific requirements regarding viscosity, temperature, safety and maintenance.
With a long-standing presence on international markets, RMC Marc Guittard exports 70 per cent of its production to Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Its technicians regularly travel worldwide to carry out assessments, installations, maintenance and process optimisation. This international presence confirms the recognition of the company’s French expertise in the field of mixing equipment for complex and high-viscosity products.
Today, RMC Marc Guittard ranks among the leading French manufacturers specialising in industrial Z-arm mixers, with recognised expertise in technical applications requiring robustness, mixing precision and a high degree of adaptability to the most specific industrial processes.
